HR Generalist

Location: Fremont, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM

Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 annually

About the Role

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a skilled bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Fremont, CA. This position is responsible for delivering HR services across talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable partnering with leadership to drive HR programs that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Manage full-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers.
• Conduct interviews, screenings, and ensure compliance with background checks and I-9/E-Verify.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs.

Employee Relations & HR Support

• Serve as a resource for employees on policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
• Document employee relations cases and investigations with discretion.
• Handle sensitive issues professionally and confidentially.

HR Data & Reporting

• Maintain HR data and prepare reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
• Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis and insights.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, and performance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies as needed.

Culture & Engagement

• Support engagement initiatives and site-level culture programs.
• Provide workforce insights to inform planning and decision-making.

General Administration

• Assist leadership with document management and meeting coordination.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support HR operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Experience

• HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Safety training programs and compliance frameworks.
• Multi-site or high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Additional Details

Max Pay: $43.00 per hour

Min Pay: $33.50 per hour
